What's the best way to get from the airport to the hotel?
Athens International Airport (ATH) is about 25–30 minutes from the hotels near the venue. The easiest option is a taxi or Uber – same vehicles, similar prices, but Uber makes it easier to book and pay.
Is the wedding outdoors?
Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be outside by the sea.
What's the weather like in Athens in August?
Expect sunny days with dry heat and warm evenings with a possible breeze from the Aegean Sea. We recommend sunglasses, sunscreen, and mixing in a water every so often!
How do I get to the venue?
We will have transportation to the venue on the day of the wedding – more details to come. Parking is available onsite for a fee. You can also take a taxi or Uber.
What should I wear?
The attire is "Summer Chic" – think lightweight suits (like linen or cotton) for the gentlemen, flowy, airy dresses for the ladies.
When should I book my flights?
The earlier the better, but ideally at least 4-6 months in advance.
What currency is used in Greece?
Euros. Credit cards are widely accepted, but it’s handy to carry some cash for smaller shops and restaurants. Most places do not accept American Express.
